Maanasi runs an Infant Adoption Center, recognized by govt. of U.P. Providing Care and Protection and nurture to the abandoned, orphan and destitute children and find placement for them in families for ensuring their proper growth and development.
Maanasi runs a shelter home to rehabilitate the destitute women.
Support the small organizations in areas such as capacity building in Organizational Development, Motivation, Micro-finance Programmes and Community mobilization etc.
Gender and Micro finance is a major area in which Maanasi supports in strategy development, training to the groups, developing innovative models in its system, etc. Presently, it is involved in developing sustainable models of Micro finance groups at the field level and also developed a module for Participatory Monitoring & Evaluation by the MFIs in Uttar Pradesh.
Maanasi conducts research and extends consultancy services to various organizations such as Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Social Consultancy Services (SCS), Panchayati Raj Institutions and also with other local level organizations & CBOs.
Maanasi is now a well –structured organisation having a team of 10 professionals including volunteers working in specified working groups. However, due to multidisciplinary nature of the jobs that we do, this is not followed very rigidly and hence one group pitch into provide assistance to other groups if required. Maanasi can fully meet the requirements and that project team has the combination of professional and management skills to ensure that we can deliver the required outputs to the highest quality standards.
