Mobilising women into SHGs by involving members of Panchayats and developing model SHGs for various developmental interventions
Maanasi believes in strengthening PRIs and involving them in mobilisation of women into SHGs and thereby play an effective role in the development process. Thus, this is a self financed program where Panchayat members are involved in mobilising women into SHGs and channelising credit from different sources and implementing other developmental activities.
Maanasi has developed a Resource Team/Trainers Team through ToT, prepared a handholding guide book for the grassroots level workers, conducted case studies on the process and outcomes, and introducing the new tool to various NGOs and Self Help Groups in U.P.Developing Module for Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation (MIS) By the SHGs for CRS U.P.Maanasi has developed a module for Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation by the SHG members through Participatory Perception Analysis with group members from two organizations supported by CRS U.P. The module was pre tested with the members of two other SHGs of the same organizations.
